How did you get started playing hockey? The conversation went something like this:

• Linda Schweiger: “I’m playing on a hockey team and you’ll love it; you need to join”
• Betsy: “I’m not sure; I haven’t skated since I was ten”
• Linda: “You’ll love it, you need to play”
• Betsy: “I don’t have equipment; when does it start”
• Linda: “Tonight; I’ll find equipment, just show up”

And that is how it began…..

How long have you played? ONE season

Why do you like playing in our league? I love the comradery, enthusiasm, and encouragement mixed with the competitive spirit of the ladies!

One of my favorite things I've ever done is... not to put boundaries on what I want to/can achieve.  One of my favorite quotes is “You can open any door if you only find the key”

One of my favorite things I've never done is.... travel to Europe and the Mediterranean; be a race car driver; own a dog that has a temperament suitable for visiting nursing homes/children’s hospitals   

If you were to trade places with one person who would it be and why? I don’t know if I would trade places with anyone.  I enjoy all the ups and downs of who I am.
