  1. We play 2 - 24 minute periods with a 5 minute warm-up and a 2 minute break between periods.
  2. Our league plays 2 minute shifts and we change when the buzzer sounds.  You can go out the doors or over the boards.
  3. Off-sides is called on both the beginning and intermediate lines.
  4. Icing is also called on both lines.
  5. Face-offs are used at the beginning of the game, beginning of the second half and after a goal is scored.
  6. If a shot is taken and stopped by the goalie, the opposing team takes over the possession of the puck.  Please allow the team to take it to the top of the circles in their zone BEFORE trying to take it away.
  7. If only one goalie is available for a game that goalie must play one half for one team and then the other.  This year we will allow 6 skaters on the ice if a goalie is not present for that team.  The goalie must be used by both teams at that point.  If there are not enough skaters for 6 on the ice we will use the mini net.  The side without the goalie must use a mini-goal and place it backwards in front of the main net.  A goal is scored when the opposing teams scores in the regular net.
  8. When the goalie covers the puck with their glove the puck is out of play.  It is not based on the whistle being blown by the referee.   Any player that "hacks" at the goalie will receive a penalty of "slashing".

Big Kahuna Concessions, LLC We are a mobile concessions trailer that can offer a wide range of products that include: burgers, hotdogs, brew city french fries, funnel cake sticks, frozen chocolate dipped bananas on a stick, Hawaiian shave ice, chicken tenders, coffee, hot chocolate...etc etc etc. If it can be grilled or fried, we can probably serve it!
